Planning to visit Ireland? There is much more to the "land of saints and scholars" than just shamrocks, leprechauns, and beautiful vistas!
Ireland also boasts three active Spiritist groups that carry out both virtual and in-person activities:
Spiritists in Ireland can also rely on the Irish Spiritist Federation (ISF). Founded in 2016 by the local Irish groups to foster the union of Spiritist organizations in the "Emerald Isle," the ISF encourages the study of Spiritist teachings in all their aspects: scientific, philosophical, religious, ethical, educational, and social. The Irish Spiritist Federation also supports the practice of spiritual and material charity in Ireland.
If you would like to connect with any of the groups in Ireland, you can find them on social media -- or reach out to the Irish Spiritist Federation.

In the meantime, we leave you with this ancient Gaelic blessing until we can meet somewhere in Ireland:

"May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be ever at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and the rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand."

We travel back in time to revisit events that happened this month in history :
  • 1772: Emanuel Swedenborg, Swedish medium and author of the celebrated book "Heaven and Hell", discarnates on March 29.
  • 1833: Famous Scottish medium Daniel Dunglas Home, considered one of the greatest mediums of physical effects of the modern era, is born on March 20 in Currie, a village on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
  • 1848: The Fox family experience their first spirit communication in Hydesville, New York, on March 31st.
  • 1856: Allan Kardec receives a communication from The Spirit of Truth for the first time while at the Baudin family's house in Paris on 3/25.

Help People Find Spiritist Books By Reviewing Them Online!

You do not need to spend a penny to participate in our give-back effort this month. If you have five extra minutes today, consider helping others find quality Spiritist resources by reviewing a Spiritist book online.
Online bookstores such as Amazon use a book's number of positive reviews as a key factor in deciding what new books to recommend to a web visitor. The idea is simple: if the book has many good reviews, it must be a good book! So, the more reviews a book has, the more likely online bookstores are to suggest that book to web visitors.

This means that your review can have a significant impact in providing access to great Spiritist literature without you doing a lot of work!
Please consider visiting Amazon or any other online bookstore today and leaving a 5-star review for one of your favorite Spiritist books. Your review will be even more powerful if you purchased the book from that retailer!

Do you know of any other great opportunities to give back? Let us know!

We hope you enjoyed what's on our radar for this month.
