- Toronto Hosts Its 1st Spiritist Film Festival: On Saturday, May 31, the 1st Toronto Spiritist Film Festival will bring three inspiring Spiritism-related films to the big screen at Innis Town Hall. The lineup includes Nobody Belongs to Anyone, Chico Forever, and Astral City 2, followed by a Q&A with director Wagner de Assis. A unique opportunity to experience spiritual cinema in community. - Oprah and Dr. Bruce Greyson Explore Near-Death Experiences: In a recent episode of The Oprah Podcast, Oprah speaks with Dr. Bruce Greyson, one of the world’s leading researchers on near-death experiences (NDEs). While not Spiritist in origin, the episode offers a powerful example of how mainstream science and public figures are increasingly exploring ideas long addressed by Spiritism—including the continuity of consciousness and the transformative power of spiritual encounters. - New Issue of The Spiritist Magazine Now Available: Volume 69 of The Spiritist Magazine is out! To celebrate the launch of this new resource, a free Zoom study group will begin on May 14, featuring a panel of guest speakers from three different continents. Together, the group will explore the 20 real-life situations presented in The Currentness of Jesus, each addressing common challenges in modern life and offering insights through Jesus’ therapeutic teachings—with the goal of fostering inner healing, peace, and personal transformation.

Participants are welcome to join the live conversations and submit questions as the group explores Joanna de Ângelis’ reflections in greater depth. No prior experience is required, though reading the book in advance and a commitment to regular participation are encouraged to make the most of this shared journey.
