Spiritism brings us a new perspective on life and spirituality—and, by consequence, Jesus. It invites us to connect with this incredible spirit, who is often kidnapped by human interests to favor one group over another, in a new way.

Ours is the Jesus of acceptance, love, and growth. Not the Jesus of exclusion or hierarchy. Not the Jesus invoked to divide or deny. But the Jesus who welcomed all, who was always kind, who saw people as they were and met them with compassion. The Jesus who sat with the brokenhearted, uplifted the forgotten, healed without judgment—and reminded us that we live forever, and so do those we love.

May this Christmas bring you closer to that Jesus—the one who truly understands, who sees you, who reminds you that even the deepest hardship can be transformed. That love outlasts everything. That joy is still possible. And that your soul was made to grow. As reinvent or resurrect our concept of the Jesus, let us also take the opportunity to reinvent ourselves in the year ahead. A new cycle starts, and new possibilities emerge. Onward!

- Emmanuel Film in Production: Director Wagner de Assis, known for Nosso Lar and Kardec, is currently filming an epic biographical feature about Emmanuel, the spiritual guide of renowned Brazilian medium Chico Xavier. The film will trace Emmanuel's multiple reincarnations across over 2,000 years—from Ancient Rome and the Galilee of Jesus to colonial Brazil and Uberaba—featuring a stellar cast of Brazilian actors including Edson Celulari, Marcelo Serrado, Juliana Paiva, and Leonardo Medeiros, with a planned 2027 release.
- Spiritist Scholarship in Routledge Handbook: We celebrate a significant milestone for Spiritist scholarship in the academic world. Humberto Schubert Coelho and Alexander Moreira-Almeida have contributed two groundbreaking chapters to The Routledge Handbook of Spirituality, Religion, and the Medical Humanities, a prestigious 418-page volume published by Routledge in December 2025. - December 5, 1934: Humberto de Campos, Brazilian writer and reporter, discarnates in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was a member of the Brazilian Academy of Letters, and after his passing, he came to write through Francisco Cândido Xavier, adopting the pseudonym of Brother X.
- December 9, 1938: Suely Caldas Schubert, Brazilian writer, lecturer, and Spiritist medium, was born in Carangola (Minas Gerais), Brazil. She wrote several books on Spiritism and had a close relationship with the famous medium Chico Xavier.
- December 30, 1880: Epes Sargent, an American author, poet and advocate of Spiritualism who played a significant role in promoting and explaining the concepts of Spiritualism, discarnates in Boston, USA.
