Ivy:First, congratulations to Prof. Alexander Moreira Almeida, who received the prestigious Oscar Pfister Award at the American Psychiatric Association's annual meeting in Los Angeles.
His lecture presented powerful scientific evidence affirming the reality and non pathological nature of spiritual experiences.

families continue their beautiful tradition with the Family Spiritist Retreat, bringing together people of all ages for a day of fun, reflection and connection inspired by Jesus teachings. Would you like to join or host one yourself? Check out the details in the newsletter.
Art:And a big round of applause to Toronto, which successfully hosted its first Spiritist Film Festival on May 31st. Three thought provoking films were shown and attendees enjoyed a live Q and A with director Wagner de Assis, a huge milestone.
Ivy:Meanwhile, In Finland, the 8th European Spiritist Gathering brought together participants from over 10 countries for a weekend of learning and connection. Spiritism in Europe is definitely thriving.
Art:,:He gave more than 20,000 lectures in 71 countries, psychographed over 260 books, sold more than 10 million copies in 17 languages and founded Mansao do Camino, a remarkable social complex in Salvador, Brazil. He also helped raise over 650 children and received over 800 honors. But beyond numbers, his legacy is felt in the millions of hearts he touched.
